Jim Herrick

Jim Herrick (* 1944 ) is a British writer and editor. His subject area focuses on humanism and secularization .

Life

Herrick studied history and English literature at Trinity College of the University of Cambridge before he first worked as a teacher. Since then he has been a writer and editor of humanistic works. He is head of the Rationalist Press Association and long-time editor of the New Humanist magazine and of International Humanist News of the International Humanist and Ethical Union . He also edited The Freethinker . He is a founding member of the Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association and Vice President of the National Secular Society .
