Life

Nervo was the child of a circus family and has performed in the arena since childhood; Without any schooling and illiterate throughout his life, he was active on the high wire with his brothers . At the age of sixteen he appeared in the variety theater . With Teddy Knox he was seen as a duo since the mid-1920s, also with Knox and a few others from the early 1930s as an acrobatic dance team under the group name "The Crazy Gang". Soon the group was discovered for the film as well, and some farces emerged. Nervo's stage character was that of “Cecil”, but he also specialized in grotesque depictions of women.

Numerous live shows arose on the stages until the 1960s with the Crazy Gang, in which Nervo and Knox formed one of three duos working together. It was not until 1967 that he and his colleagues said goodbye.
