The Jin Hu ( Chinese 金湖 , Pinyin Jīn Hú ), literally "Gold Lake", is a lake in Taining County in the Chinese city of Sanming ( Fujian Province ). With more than 60 kilometers in length and an area of 36 square kilometers, it is the largest artificial lake in Fujian.
The area of the lake offers over 100 attractions including the Baishuiji Waterfall and the beam of light over the water of a mountain river from which the lake takes its name.
