Jin Pyol-hui

Jin Pyol-hui (born August 19, 1980 in North Korea ) is a North Korean football player (striker).

Jin Pyol-hui plays for the club Wolmido in Pyongyang . Jin, who was number 15 at the time, took part in the 1999 Women's World Cup in the USA at the age of 18 and scored one of three North Korean goals against Denmark. Despite this victory, North Korea was eliminated in the first round of the World Cup.

At the Asian Championships in Taiwan in 2001 , Jin Pyol-hui scored three goals against China, helping the North Korean team to win their first title, which they repeated in Thailand in 2003 . At the 2003 World Cup, North Korea was drawn into the so-called "group of death" with Nigeria, the USA (third place) and Sweden (runner-up). Although North Korea won their first game against Nigeria 3-0 and Jin Pyol-hui was voted Budlight Player of the Game, the games were lost against Sweden (0-1) and the USA (0-3). Therefore, North Korea dropped out early.
