The Jin Shu ( Chinese  晋书  - "Book of Jin") is a historical work that describes the time of the Chinese Jin Dynasty (265–420) in 130 volumes . It is the 5th work from the canon of the 24 dynasty stories . It takes up the thread of historiography from the end of the Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms of Chen Shou , but (unlike these) was not compiled by a contemporary, but only in the year 648 by the historian Fang Xuanling (579-648). Some chapters were written by Emperor Tang Taizong .
