Jinki

Jinki ( Japanese 神 亀 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from March 724 to September 729 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Yōrō , the following era is called Tempyō . The era falls during the reign of the Emperor ( Tennō ) Shōmu .

The first day of the Jinki era corresponds to March 3, 724, and the last day was September 1, 729. The Jinki era lasted six years or 2900 days.
