Joël Magnin (born May 31, 1971 ) is a former Swiss football player and current football coach . His traditional position was midfield , but he was versatile and also played a striker or defender and in the meantime even wore the captain's armband for the Young Boys . After the 2006/07 season he ended his career and was then coach of the U21 team of BSC Young Boys. In the 2019/20 season he was the coach of Neuchâtel Xamax .
