Jo and Josephine
Jo and Josephine are a singing couple from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , consisting of the singer and guitarist Klaus Röse and the singer, lyricist and composer Marita Frehse. Jo & Josephine come from Western Pomerania , are married and live in Altentreptow .
biography
The singing duo has existed since 1999. Initially, Jo & Josephine focused on children's music before, after several years, relied on their original addressees, the adults. Their music is relatively broad. Their repertoire includes country songs , folk songs , rock 'n' roll , Schlager as well as Discofox titles, so far there are around 90 of their own titles on 8 CDs and several DVDs. One of her best-known titles is “You beautiful Pomerania”. Her latest show is called "A Cruise That Is Funny".
They are known to a wide audience through their own television show " Musikantenkrug ", in which they act as producers, presenters and also artists in front of and behind the camera. This program is broadcast nationwide, abroad and also on several regional channels in Germany. Tours through the USA , South Africa , Canada and Australia also made the artists known internationally.
