Joachim Franck

Joachim Franck (born April 20, 1941 in Küstrin ; † October 7, 2008 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1990 to 1999 he was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament .

Life

After graduating from high school, Franck studied from 1963 to 1968 at the TH Karlsruhe , which he completed with a technical diploma in business administration. He then worked in international energy and holding company before it in 1977 with an engineering company independently made.

In 1990 Franck moved into the Brandenburg State Parliament as a directly elected member of the Brandenburg I constituency. There he was a member of the committee for urban development, housing and transport and the main committee as well as chairman of the committee for economy, middle class and technology. In 1994 he succeeded in returning to the state parliament, this time as a direct candidate for the constituency of Brandenburg / Havel I. Until he left the state parliament, he was chairman of the committee for European affairs.
