Joachim Janke

Joachim Janke (* in the 16th or 17th century in Königsberg (Prussia) ; † in the 17th or 18th century ) was a German bell founder .

life and work

Janke can be found in Magdeburg for the years 1640 to 1650 .

In Braunschweig , together with the bell founder Ludolph Siegfried, he created, among other things, the so-called "prayer bell" for the Braunschweig Church of St. Petri . It was destroyed in a tower fire in 1811.
