Joachim Weber (* 1959 in Stuttgart ) is a German businessman. He is the rector of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart .

Joachim Weber studied engineering and economics at the University of Stuttgart , where he graduated with a degree in business administration . Since 1986 he has worked as an appraiser , consultant and trainer in the field of performance and financial management of companies . In 1991, he received his doctorate from Péter Horváth in the field of controlling international companies . Since 1990 he has been a full-time professor for controlling and accounting at the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart , from 1991 responsible for the development and management of the courses in industry / services, service management and international business administration. In January 2006 he became director of the Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education (including the Horb branch), which as the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart is a location of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, which was renamed in 2009. 2018 began his third term as rector. Joachim Weber is the author of numerous specialist books and articles in compilations, encyclopedias and specialist journals.
