Joaquim Vítor da Silva

Joaquim Vítor da Silva was a colonel in the Brazilian Guarda Nacional , owner of a rubber plantation and participant in the Acrean Revolution , from which, after the Treaty of Petrópolis, the territory and the state of Acre emerged .

Under Luis Gálvez Rodríguez de Arias , who proclaimed the Republic of Acre, the Estado Independente do Acre , in 1899 , he was initially Vice-President under Luis Gálvez in his second presidency and from March 15, 1900 until the country was reintegrated into Bolivia on April 25, 1900 President of the Provisional Government.
