Jobst Heimart from Lenthe
Jobst Heimart von Lenthe (* after 1590 in Rehburg ; † beginning of 1649 there ) was the son of the Calenbergian Drosten in Rehburg Curt von Lenthe and his wife Anna von Marenholz .
Life
Lenthe matriculated on May 29, 1607 at the University of Helmstedt . After studying the four arts , he was appointed chamberlain in 1622; 1625 in addition to being vice stable master. In 1628 he was promoted to stable master. He held this office until 1643. With this office he then moved to the court of Duke August the Elder. J. von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel .
In 1642 Lenthe accompanied Prince Ludwig I of Anhalt-Köthen on his north German trip . On the occasion of a visit to the Plöner Hof with Duke Joachim Ernst of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Plön , Prince Ludwig accepted the Duke and Lenthe as members of the Fruit-Bringing Society .
As a member of this society, Jobst Heimart von Lenthe bore the name of the beautiful blooming woman and was given his motto every three years ; as a painting the onion plant Giuoca (Yucca gloriosa L.). Lenthe is listed in the Koethen company register under number 384. There you can also find the law of rhyme, which Lenthe wrote on the occasion of his initiation.
- You can find a beautiful plant of onion flowers
- The Giuoca is called: beautiful blooming one is called
- I have every three years how this saves growth,
- As long as its blooms: So praise it
- Sol, who karted his heart alone to virtue,
- And those who are willing both internally and externally
- He doesn't have time to save
- He is never ready to bring the fruit.
