Joe Coviello

Joe Coviello is an American local politician. He has been Mayor of Cape Coral ( Florida ) since 2017 .

Coviello completed his training in 1977 at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster ( Pennsylvania ) with a Bachelor in Business Administration from. In the following years he worked as Regional Vice President for Groller Inc. and at Macmillan Publishers . In 2000 he moved with his family to Cape Coral, where he worked as a business consultant.

He was first a member and then chairman of the Budget Review Committee of the City of Cape Coral. On November 7, 2017, he was elected mayor by a narrow margin. His term of office ends in 2022.
