Joe Gallagher (boxer)

Joe Gallagher (born November 30, 1968 in Manchester , England ) is a retired British boxer and current boxing coach.

Boxing career

Gallagher began boxing at the age of 11 under the guidance of Jimmy Egan. At the age of 17 he was trained by the experienced Phil Martin . In total, Gallagher played over 60 amateur fights.

Coaching career

Gallagher started as an amateur coach in 1993. He was considered quite successful.

In 2001 he switched to the professionals, where he is currently considered one of the best. He produced some world champion and was founded in 2015 by far the most remarkable world Boxzeitschrift The Ring as coach of the year selected.
