Joe O'Donnell

Joe O'Donnell (born May 7, 1922 in Johnstown , Pennsylvania, † August 9, 2007 ) was an American photographer . He became world famous for his pictures of the destruction caused by the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of the Second World War , which he photographed as a member of the American marines in Japan .
