Johann (Bishop of Tripoli)

Johann (French: Jean ; † before 1186) was Chancellor of the Principality of Antioch and Bishop of Tripoli .

Its origin is unknown. He was first documented in 1173 as Chancellor of Antioch. He was a cleric and archdeacon of Antioch . In 1183 he became bishop of Tripoli (in May 1183 he is documented as bishop and chancellor) and gave up the office of chancellor of Antioch at the latest in 1184.

It was last documented in 1184. He died in 1186 at the latest; this year his successor Aimerich is recorded as Bishop of Tripoli.
