Johann Dominik Laeis (born August 4, 1730 in Simmern ; † December 26, 1815 in Diekirch ) was a Luxembourg glassworks owner.
The Johann Dominik Laeis family comes from Luxembourg, where they can be traced back to about 1650 as a farming family. His father Dominik Laeis (1702–1779) made it from a small craftsman to administrator of the Bourscheid estate . Johann Dominik Laeis became his successor. He founded a glassworks in Holsthum and appointed his son Johann Matthias Dominik (1754–1836) as director. In 1820 the production of the glassworks came to a standstill.
