Johann Gabriel Günther (* in the 18th century; † unknown) was a German carpenter. He made at least two still preserved and the World Heritage Site belonging timbered houses in Quedlinburg .

life and work

Further details on Günther's life are not known. He built the house at Neuer Weg 42 in 1783 . There the inscription JGGUNTHER with a coat of arms refers to him. In 1796 he built the house at Münzenberg 60 , on which the inscription ZJGGÜNTHER reminds of him. In 1797 he was named on a certificate as a carpenter.
