Johann Jacob Andreae

Johann Jacob Andreae (born January 28, 1741 in Frankfurt am Main ; † October 16, 1819 ibid) was a politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Johann Jacob Andreae was the son of the printer Johann Benjamin Andreae (1705–1775) and his wife Elisabeth Dorothea nee Holzhausen. He studied law at the University of Göttingen and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He then worked briefly at the Reichshofrat in Wein before he was a partner in his father's book printing company from 1764 to 1771.

On November 13, 1786, he was elected to the 51 Committee. From 1805 to 1812 he was a Senator and from 1812 to 1816 Schöff member of the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt and the Imperial City of Frankfurt, only interrupted by the time of the Grand Duchy of Frankfurt .
