Johann Kastner (born in the 20th century) is a former German athlete.

Career

With the German national athletics team for handicapped people, Johann Kastner took part in two Paralympic summer games and won three silver and one bronze medals.

First he was used at the Paralympic Summer Games in 1988 . In the marathon he won the bronze medal in the performance group 1C, in the 5000 meter run he won the silver medal.

At the 1992 Paralympic Summer Games in Barcelona he was again a member of the German national team for handicapped people. He also competed here over the distance of 5000 m and was again silver medalist. He also won silver in the 800 meter run.

For the two silver medals won at the 1992 Paralympic Summer Games in Barcelona, ​​Johann Kastner was awarded the silver laurel leaf by Federal President Richard von Weizsäcker on June 13, 1993 .
