Johann Kindl

Johann Winfried Kindl (* 1962 in Untermühlhausen ) is a German law scholar and professor at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster .

Life

From 1981 to 1988, Kindl studied law at the University of Augsburg in the one-step legal training . There he worked as a research assistant to Helmut Köhler during his studies . After completing his studies and one year as a member of the government at the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport , Kindl worked from 1989 to 1995 as a research assistant to Volker Behr at the University of Augsburg. There Kindl obtained his doctorate in 1992. iur. In 1998 he completed his habilitation and received the venia legendi for the subjects civil law, commercial and company law and civil procedural law.

This was followed by a substitute professorship at Munich University in the 1998/99 winter semester . In the following two semesters he held a chair at the University of Münster . Since the summer semester of 2000, Kindl has held the chair for civil law for minor students at the University of Münster.

Kindl has been a liaison professor at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation since 2018.

Works (selection)

Kindl's publications focus on corporate law and civil procedural law. Kindl gained greater prominence through his textbook on corporate law and his commentary on enforcement law in the commentary on the ZPO published by Ingo Saenger . In addition, Kindl acts together with Caroline Meller-Hannich and Hans-Joachim Wolf as the editor of a commentary on foreclosure law.
