Johann Krowel († 1416 in Lübeck ) was a temporary councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

During the civil unrest in Lübeck at the beginning of the 15th century, the businessman Johann Krowel was a committed member of the rebellious citizens' committee of the 60s and 1408 a member of the commission for the election of a new council . 1408, 1410 and 1412 he is recorded as a member of this new council. In Lübeck citizens' wills he is listed several times as a documentary witness and guardian .

Krowels was married to a daughter of the Lübeck councilor Hartmann Pepersack and lived in the property at Breite Straße 37 in Lübeck.
