Johann Lonfat (born September 11, 1973 in Martigny , Canton of Valais ) is a Swiss football player . He was in the squad of the Swiss national football team .
Lonfat began his professional career in 1991 at Lausanne-Sports (now FC Lausanne-Sport ). In 1992 he moved to the Valais club FC Sion , with which he won the Swiss championship in 1997. From 1998 to 2002 he played for Servette Geneva and then five seasons for the French club FC Sochaux . In 2007 Lonfat returned to his former club Servette Geneva.
