Johann Meulenberg
Johann Meulenberg (born October 9, 1923 , † September 14, 2008 ) was a German football player.
career
Meulenberg played for Borussia Mönchengladbach from 1949 to 1951 . During this time, the team succeeded in the 1949/50 season from II. Division West (Group 2) promotion to the top division ( Oberliga West ). Johann Meulenberg played in all 30 rounds of the promotion round for Mönchengladbach and scored 18 goals. In the top division round 1950/51, the attacker , who was mostly used on the right wing , played 25 games with six hits. Brother Hubert scored two goals in 10 missions. The Bökelbergelf lost the playoff for the third relegated against Alemannia Aachen and rose again to the 2nd League West.
