Johann Sengstschmid
Johann Sengstschmid (born July 16, 1936 in Steinakirchen am Forst , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian composer of sound series. So far he has written over 50 works, mainly chamber, vocal and church music. All works are based on the sound series theory of his teacher Othmar Steinbauer , which he enriched with the principle of parallel sound series discovered around 1962 . He lives in St. Pölten .
