Johann Siegele
Johann "Hans" Siegele (born November 23, 1948 in Tannheim , Tyrol ) is a former Austrian walker and biathlete .
At the Biathlon World Championships in 1975 in Antholz, he came in 61st place in the 10 km sprint race, 62nd place in the 20 km individual race and 16th in the relay.
He then switched to athletics and took 22nd place in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow in 20 km walking .
He was Austrian champion three times in 50 km walking (1980, 1985, 1986) and once each in 20 km walking (1978) and in 10,000 m walking (1978).
His younger brother Wilfried Siegele was also successful as a walker.
