Johann Valke

Johann Valke (* in the 15th century; † September 24, 1495 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Johann Valke came from the Münsterland knightly family Valke, whose seat was the Falkenhof in Rheine . His parents were Hermann Valke and Beleke Sasse. Mentioned as canon of Hildesheim as early as 1433, he was a canon from Münster in 1439 at the University of Bologna . Johann was the owner of the chamber office, an important function at the court of the prince-bishop. He died as a cathedral senior.
