Johann von Cossie
Johann von Cossie ( French: Jean or Johan ; † around 1250) was lord of Cossie and chamberlain of the Kingdom of Jerusalem .
He was a son of Rainald of Haifa , chamberlain and castellan of Jerusalem and his wife Isabella Brisebarre.
He held the office of chamberlain of the kingdom from about 1232 to 1252 and obtained the hereditary fiefdom over the rule of Cossie (probably in Cyprus), after which he was named from then on.
He was married to Isabella von Mallenbec, the daughter of Daniel von Mallenbec and the Chandelor von Flory. With her he had a son:
- Philip of Cossie († around 1269), Lord of Cossie, chamberlain and marshal of Jerusalem.
