The Johannes Nepomuk Chapel is a path chapel in the municipality of Gaal in the Murtal district in Styria . It is a listed building .

history

The baroque chapel dedicated to St. Johannes Nepomuk stands in front of Wasserberg Castle . It is dedicated to the way and bridge saint of ancient Austria Johannes Nepomuk. The exact date of construction is unknown. It has a semicircle, a triangular gable and a baroque wrought iron grille. The statue of the saint dates from the 3rd quarter of the 18th century. On the outside there are paintings with saints in rococo frames from the same period.

The listed chapel was renovated in 2013.
