Johannes Brinkmann (ethicist)

Johannes Brinkmann (* 1950 ) is a German ethicist and university professor .

Life

After attending school, Johannes Brinkmann studied sociology at the Universities of Münster and Oslo . In 1972 he was in Münster Master of Arts and in 1975 he received his doctorate there to the Dr. phil.

Johannes Brinkmann specialized in business and business ethics with a focus on marketing and consumer ethics with a business ethics perspective.

In 2002 he was appointed Professor of Business and Business Ethics at the Norwegian Business School BI in Oslo. From 2016 to 2019 he taught at the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø and then became emeritus.
