Johannes Huber (rally driver)

Johannes Huber (born October 26, 1964 in Vienna ) is an Austrian racing driver and entrepreneur . In the third generation, he is the managing director of Gustav Petri & Co , a company that specializes in the processing of metals.

Career

He can look back on a successful career as a rally, long-distance and circuit driver. In autumn 2016 he was named national champion of the Austrian State Historical Rally Championship for the third time. Since 2005 he has headed the Viennese racing team Ecurie Vienne , which was founded in 1959 by Rolf Markl, Curd Barry and Gunther Placheta .

Johannes Huber runs an automobile workshop under the same name that deals with the restoration, repair and maintenance of old and youngtimers - especially at Porsche  .

  • 2008 races in various national and international rallies, overall victory in the Vienna-Trieste rally

  • 2010 FIA EHRC (San Remo, Vlatava, Alpi Orientali) LeMansClassic Porsche 908, VLN Nürburgring
