Johannes Kruppke
Johannes Kruppke (born May 18, 1901 in Tiegenhof , † September 27, 1957 in Gothenburg ) was a German worker and politician ( SPD ).
Life
Like his father, Kruppke was an unskilled worker in Tiegenhof. In the Free City of Danzig he joined the SPD and was a member of the district council of the Großes Werder district from 1927 to 1937 and a city councilor in Tiegenhof from 1931 to 1937. In 1932 he was a member of the SPD state executive committee in Danzig. From 1927 to 1937 he was a member of the People's Day.
After the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1937, he emigrated to Sweden and did not return more permanently back to Germany.
