Johannes Rösing (politician, 1866)
Johannes Rösing , also Hans Rösing (born July 5, 1866 in New York City ; † August 20, 1953 in Bremen ) was an American-German lawyer, syndicus of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Bremen citizenship .
biography
Rösing was the legal counsel of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce until 1933. In the 1930s he was a member of the Bremen Citizenship and was a member of the Presidium.
For a long time he was Secretary General of the German Society for Rescue of Shipwrecked People (DGzRS) founded in Bremen . In 1924 he was one of the founders of the Bremen Scientific Society (BWG), the forerunner of Wittheit zu Bremen .
He was buried in the family grave in the Riensberg cemetery .
