Johannes Rommerskirchen

Johannes Rommerskirchen , OMI (born January 5, 1899 in Neuenhoven , Grevenbroich district; † February 24, 1978 in Rome ) was a German Catholic theologian and librarian .

Life

Rommerskirchen came in 1934 as a lecturer at the mission science institute of the Pontifical Urban University in Rome and was later appointed professor there. At the same time he was director of the Pontifical Mission Library of the Pontifical Work for the Propagation of the Faith .

He was co-editor of the Bibliotheca Missionum and the Bibliografia Missionaria .
