Johanneswertebruch (* 1960 ) is professor for civil law , commercial and business law at the Philipps University of Marburg .

Life

He received his doctorate in 1990 with the thesis The legal consequences of double control of joint ventures according to the GWB in Bonn, where he also habilitated in 2000 with the thesis The liability of companies and company shares in foreclosure . Together with Lars Klöhn, he has held the chair for civil law, commercial and business law since 2001 .

In his research, John Wertenbruch mainly focused on the sales law , the Company Law , the Antitrust Law and Sports Law .
