John XIII Glykys

John XIII Glykys (Greek Ιωάννης ΙΓ΄ Γλυκύς ) was the patriarch of Constantinople (1315-1319).

Life

John was Logothet of Dromos in Constantinople . He was married and had children.

On May 11, 1315 he became Patriarch of Constantinople. On May 12, 1319, he resigned for health reasons and went to the Kyrissenkloster . The year of his death is unknown.

Works

Johannes is the author of a text on Greek syntax with the title: Περί ορθότητος συντάξεως.
