Johannes Zwick (entrepreneur)
Johannes Zwick (born November 28, 1955 in Sumatra , Indonesia ) is a German doctor , entrepreneur and chairman of the board of the Johannesbad group of companies .
Johannes Zwick is the son of the “ spa king” Eduard Zwick , who made a decisive contribution to the rise of Bad Füssing to a spa in the 1960s.
Life
After studying medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Free University of Berlin , Johannes Zwick started his career in the family company in 1982 as CEO. He took over the overall management and expanded the Johannesbad (named after him by his father) into a profitable health company. Johannes Zwick lives in Switzerland . Since 1976 he has been a member of the Corps Franconia Munich and since 1977 a member of the Corps Guestphalia Berlin .
On January 11, 1994 Johannes Zwick came into custody on charges of tax evasion, had to sit there for four months and was only released after paying a bail of 45 million marks. After a partial confession and payment of 32.8 million DM, he was sentenced in 1996 to a prison term of 22 months, which was suspended on probation . In December 1997 the Federal Court of Justice overturned the judgment due to the statute of limitations.
