history
The company was founded in 1960 by the doctor couple Angelika and Eduard Zwick. The Tannenhof spa was opened in Bad Füssing . In 1964 the water drilling was successful and the Johannesbad thermal baths could be developed.
In this context, the Johannesbad specialist clinic went into operation. The expansion course began in 1993 and the group expanded to six specialist clinics / health centers and several hotels in Bad Füssing and other locations.

In 2011, the three specialist clinics in Bad Fredeburg and the Furth specialist clinic (formerly the AKG clinic group) were taken over and integrated into the Johannesbad group . Today the Johannesbad Group includes nine specialist clinics and health centers. Seven hotels and a medical vocational school are also part of the group.
