Johannes von Weizsäcker

Johannes Freiherr von Weizsäcker (born April 28, 1973 in Bonn ) is a German musician . He became known as a co-founder of the London band The Chap and is currently pursuing his solo project Success (with a women's choir).

Life

His father is the economist Carl Christian von Weizsäcker . After attending school in Bern and Bonn, he studied in England. In 2000 he founded the band The Chap in London , together with Keith Duncan, Panos Ghikas and Claire Hope. The four are united by the avowed desire to make music that "sounds wrong". After moving to Berlin, he founded his rather ironic solo project Success in 2014, the first album of which was released on the Staatsakt label in 2015. He also plays with Ramin Bijan and Maurice Summen in the "Music for the Whole Family" band Baked Beans.
