Johanneskirche

The Johanneskirche is a Protestant church in the Leverkusen district of Manfort . The architect Otto Bartning planned the Protestant church in Manfort as one of the last buildings from the “Emergency Church Program” that was launched in the Federal Republic after the Second World War. It was inaugurated in March 1954 and is now a listed building. It is the seat of the parish of the same name in the Evangelical Church District of Leverkusen .

The church was built between 1953 and 1954 according to plans by Otto Bartning .

In 1956, the Peter company from Cologne installed their op. 93, a two-manual organ , which was fundamentally rebuilt and expanded in 2010 by the Fasen company .
