John Abbey (actor)
John Abbey (born September 21, 1935 in Denver , Colorado ) is an American actor with a career in France.
Life
The actor, who was born in Denver, Colorado, had his first small roles in American films ( ... who desire everything ). The French speaking Abbey went to France where he became known as Lang in Spy Between 2 Fronts . He played the 1967 Mr. Lacs in Playtime and finally the title role of the superhero Mr. Freedom in William Klein Mister Freedom alongside Seyrig . In 1975 he was the star of Helvio Soto's CIA agent It rains over Santiago ( Il pleut sur Santiago ). Abbey also starred in French television films and series such as Quand la liberté venait du ciel or Les enquêtes du commissaire Maigret . He played four times in TV adaptations of plays in the TV series Au théâtre ce soir .
