John Dell
John Dell is an American comic book artist.
Life and work
Dell has been a full-time comic book artist since the early 1990s. He specializes primarily in revising other artists' pencil drawings with Indian ink ("Inken").
The series that Dell has looked after as regulars in the past include JLA and Lobo. He has also worked as a guest researcher on series such as Adventures of Superman , The Batman Chronicles , The Demon , Extreme Justice , Firestorm , Flash , Green Lantern , Hawkman , Hourman , Legion of Super-Heroes , LEGION , Batman: Shadow of the Bat , Robin , Steel and Superboy worked. There is also work on mini-series and one-shots such as Birds of Prey: Manhunt , Birds of Prey: Revolution , Birds of Prey: Batgirl , Birds of Prey: Wolves , Robin plus Impulse , The Atom Special or Martian Manhunter Special .
Among the artists whose work Dell has inked particularly frequently include Howard Porter , Gary Frank and Val Semeiks , but he has also reworked the work of illustrators such as Curt Swan , Mike Wieringo and Scott McDaniels .
