John Hewitt (Modern Pentathlon)

John Alfred Hewitt (born January 6, 1925 ) is a former British modern pentathlete .

Hewitt, who in the Royal Marines served, launched at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki for the United Kingdom in Modern Pentathlon. There he finished 30th out of 51 participants in the individual competition. His strongest discipline was running, where he could reach twelfth place, he was weakest as 42nd in fencing . In the team competition he achieved 10th place together with Leon Lumsdaine and Jervis Percy .
