John J. Thomas
John J. Thomas (born August 8, 1813 in Albemarle County , Virginia , † around 1895) was an American politician in the 19th century .
Thomas was a member of the Kentucky State Legislature in 1851 . He also represented his home state in 1861 at its Secession Convention and from 1861 to 1862 in the Provisional Confederate Congress . He also served in the Confederate States Army during the Civil War .
