John Okoro (athlete)

John Okoro (born July 21, 1948 ) is a retired Nigerian long jumper .

In 1973 he won silver at the Pan-African Games in Lagos, and in 1974 he was sixth at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch .

On May 29, 1976, he set his personal best in Lagos with 7.87 m. However, the boycott of Nigeria prevented participation in the Montreal Olympic Games .
