John Park (athlete)

John Park (born September 9, 1915 , † February 9, 1942 ) was an Australian hurdler who had specialized in the 400-meter distance .

At the British Empire Games in Sydney in 1938 , he won silver over the 440 yard hurdles and came fourth with the 4 x 440 yard relay.

He set his personal best of 53.6 s over 440 yard hurdles (equivalent to 53.3 s over 400 m hurdles) on December 4, 1937 in Melbourne .
