John Radford
John Radford (* 22. February 1947 in the county of Yorkshire ) is a former English football player .
life and career
The center or winger began his career at Arsenal as a youth. In 1962 he joined the Gunners. In 1964, Radford was added to the first team squad. He made his debut for Arsenal on March 21, 1964 against West Ham United . It was the Englishman's only appearance that season. In the 1964/1965 season, Radford was a permanent member of the Gunners. In the 13 years that the striker was under contract with Arsenal, he won once the English championship, once the English Cup and once the UEFA Cup . In 1977, after many injuries, he moved to West Ham United for £ 80,000. After 28 games for the Hammers, it went straight to the Blackburn Rovers . After only a year he ended his professional career and played for a short time at the amateur club FC Bishop's Stortford . After the end of his career he became a pub owner and was briefly coach of Bishop's Stortford.
