John Two-Hawks

John Two-Hawks is an American musician. Two-Hawks has been musically active since the early 1990s and regularly gives concerts. He sings and also plays several instruments. He is particularly known for his Indian double flute . He has produced 14 CDs and one DVD. In addition, John Two-Hawks has authored four books on Native American wisdom, three of which have been released with one of his CDs. He often takes part in lectures on Indian history and culture in schools and universities. However, he is not an official member of any Indian tribe.

John Two-Hawks accompanies the song Creek Mary's Blood on the Nightwish album Once with his double flute and his voice . He also appears on Nightwish's DVD End of an Era , a recording of the Helsinki concert on October 21, 2005. There he played his song Stone People from his album Honor as the introduction to Creek Mary's Blood , which he then played with the band - back then still with singer Tarja Turunen - sang. In 2007 he played again with Nightwish at two concerts in San Antonio and Dallas. Nightwish never play this song live during a concert without John Two-Hawks.

John Two-Hawks currently lives in Arkansas , USA.
