John of Pattishall (politician)

John of Pattishall († 1290 ) was an English nobleman and politician.

John of Pattishall was the eldest son of Simon of Pattishall and his wife Margery . After the death of his father in 1274 he inherited most of his estates, which were mainly in Northamptonshire , but also in the adjacent counties and in Bedfordshire . In July 1290 he was elected to Parliament as Knight of the Shire for Bedfordshire . However, he died in the same year. His son Simon , who died in 1295, became his heir . As a result, Simon's underage son John inherited the property.
